PC DART
Does any one still use PC Dart?  I am an MTSO who uses PC Dart. My subcontractors use a TTU and I use one when I travel.  I have a problem where my foot pedal doesn't respond.  The only way I can hear the dictation is if I hit the 1 on the telephone keypad to play, 2 to pause, 3 to suspend, etc.  I tried going through all of the manuals I received when I purchased the system and can't find anything. Additionally, I just hired someone and gave her one of the TTU's.  She connected it and the same thing is happening to her.  Since BCB is out of business I don't have a clue who to call or where to find information.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
what about the pc dart thing?
do you have to buy that? 400 is alot of money

PC-Dart jobs

Hello-

I have a job where I have to dial in and use a PC-DART modem with a foot pedal over my telephone line.  Is that common?

PC Dart Jobs
Maybe they are referring to a TTU, a transcription transmitter unit, which is similar to a C-phone.  I use PC Dart.  My transcriptionists use TTU's.  I can dial into other systems using the TTU via phone line.  Hope this helps a little.
I use Bytescribe for my PC Dart files - sm
When you go to open up the file in the "open" window at the bottom should be a "files of type" box, select "Playall files" and that should do the trick. I don't know if you have this option in ExpressScribe, but I know it is very similar to Bytescribe so give it a shot.
Never heard of a PC-DART modem -sm
Where I work uses PD-DART player to play the voice files, but you don't have to be on line to work. I go to a FTP, download my work, get off-line. Do my work, and upload the finished work to the FTP site. Check and see if this is what you can do; or if you misunderstood anything, as I said I never heard of a PC-DART modem.
