In Reply to: MT pay - In Nashville

I am a IC/MTSO and make anywhere from $35 to $55 an hour.  I charge .11 to .125 (depending on volume of account) and pay my subs 0.9 cents per gross line based on courrier 12 font.  I do pick up and deliver though and cut apart chart notes, etc.  Envelopes.  On my three major accounts I personally work (even with pick up and delivery)  25 hours per week and make$3500 per month on the avergae.   I have another account in house where I am an employee and work 20 hours per week.  To be self employed and cover all benefits you gotta make $30 to $35 an hour.    O don't make much from my subs but they are friends and they cover for me when I am gone so want to keep them happy.   I just took the in-house to get out of the home for a while and now it looks like they might be contracting with my business as they want 24 hour turn around so will be picking up more subs.
