When I first started working for the company I do right now, the owner sent out a long email about how QA is not responsible for pure laziness. She said that it is clear when somebody has researched and could not figure a word out and when somebody was just to lazy to do the research. She also said raises come with the type of work you do. I am sure that made some people think. Just a suggestion.
