Thanks very much for the info!  Just wondering, do reports have to be typed in Word and then pasted into RIS?  Our MTs are already screaming because bosses are telling us it can't count lines. Do some versions of RIS have their own word processing/document setup where it doesn't have to be typed in Word first?  We are being told that Expanders will not be compatible with RIS document transcription--maybe our hospital is getting a "low-tech" version. I love radiology but dread the thought of it taking so long to do a report because of no expanders.  Thank you again for taking time to reply.
