I worked with RIS, but not VR, it was working off word, but without the use of autotext. I bought what I think was called Smartwords which had the bar at the bottom which as I typed words would popup and if it was what I needed, just hit the space bar. It worked. Did not last long because the hospital's system kept going down and never got any comp for it. Good luck.
