There's nothing wrong with anyone wanting to get into this field, but paleaaase, don't think you can just walk into it because you were a nurse.  Like anything else it takes the proper training and without that you're going to fall flat on your face.  Say what you will to try and make yourself feel better but those are the facts and the cold hard facts.  And being a nurse and hearing medical terminology does not constitute the proper training either just like taking your kids temperature orally or anally doesn't qualify one to be a nurse - same thing!
