....doesn't mean she needs a psychiatrist.

mine were both girls - and I even had to have a psychiatrist for - sm
one of them. Of course, you know how psychiatrists can be - always blaming the parents for the social dysfunctions of the beagle!
Have you ever heard the Asian psychiatrist

on Law and Order dictate?  He's pretty good.  I'd do his reports.  He's a dream!

It's an excellent guide
I AM A PSYCHIATRIST. You are too much in others business and this reflects the inability to tend
to your own problems. I suggest you schedule an appointment to see why you butt your nose into other peoples issues and leave yours to fester and grow. Get off the computer and phone your health care provider. I am too Busy MD'ing to solve your problem over the internet. I am just here to see how I can make my dictation more pleasing to MTs and I can't take care of your psych problems here. Once again, too Busy MD'ing.
I briefly talked to my uncle, who is psychiatrist, about Tater. His recommendation was to take her
to a pediatric psychiatrist for a thorough evaluation and then the appropriate referrals and/or medications can be started. There has to be an indepth evaluation why Tater is the way she is. It could be that her mother was never abusive towards her, but it could be that Tater may be showing the early signs of schizophrenic disorder and what we perceive as lies to us are realities to her. At any rate, shipping the child off may not be the best answer, but to get her the adequate help. I feel for your friend, because it is not easy to deal with a "problem child" but now Tater's Daddy and your friend are legally responsible and accountable for the child.
