backup. i did that for quite some time and the problem was vacations and getting sick. I couldn't just tell them I'm off for a couple of weeks, or whatever.
That was doing tapes though so I'm sure you'll have a much easier time getting backup with digital.
Good luck with it although you sound so motivated that luck probably has nothing to do with it. You'll do it!
