Brokeback Mountain
Anyone see it, any opinions, only would like those from people who have actually seen it?
Estrella Mountain Ranch
is a very nice community and there aren't many like it. I live in Avondale which is just southeast of Goodyear and our house value has skyrocketed. We bought at $170K and appraised at $250K a year later. If you are looking for a community with the clubhouses, water parks, jogging trails, and golf courses like Estrella you are going to pay a pretty penny no matter where they are I guess. I'd suggest looking at the new communities in Buckeye (just west of Goodyear/Avondale)as they are just starting to boom and are starting in the 140s right now or on the west side of Surprise. Look at the web sites of the home builders here to see where they are starting new master planned communities. Ryland Homes, Standard Pacific, Fulton Homes, Del Webb, Beazer Homes, Continental Homes, Hacienda Homes just to name a few.

another one is Broke Back Mountain
I already knew what was going to happen ahead of time.  I think they must have been going for the *shock factor* of two gay men in a film, which has never been done, because the rest of the movie was at a standstill.  Altogether nonconvincing!
yes, Jesus is one of many paths to the mountain. Have a good journey!

became Iron Deficiency Anemia Smith.  Gotta be careful for what those shortcuts might say!  Changed that one REAL fast.
were and Dr. Smith

minutes is plural - subject/verb agreement.

Dr. Smith - possessive not necessary because it is already denoted in the phrase "patient of", i.e. Dr. Smith's patient or patient of Dr. Smith.

was and Smith's
BOS page 377: Use a singular verb when referring to a total amount of time, money, or quantity. Therefore 45 minutes (total amount of time) was spent, and 20 mEq was given.

BOS page 328: Some idiomatic expressions use the possessive form appropriately, a patient of Dr. Smith's.

Has anyone seen Shepard Smith from
fox today? He's looked really worn down the last few days and I can understand why, but haven't seen him at all today. Yesterday he almost lost it a few times on tv and wondering if they brought him home for rest.

Mine was also Vermont, on a different lake, and I was 4.
- Lake Memphremagog

We stayed in cabins on the lake, and and there were loft bedrooms for the kids that could only be reached by ladders. My aunt and uncle and two of their kids were there. It was my favorite vacation ever, and I was four years old.
Right now only 5 days at Lake Gaston in VA - sm
but thinking about a week going to Niagara Falls, its our 10-year anniversary this month and we went there for our honeymoon. I thought it might be nice to go back there, maybe in August, with the kids. Gas will be pricey at $300 I expect, and hotel about $800 for 5 nights/2 rooms at the B&B we stayed at, but have not run it by my DH as yet. Got a lot going so it seems right now; are taking at least two 4-day weekend trips up to PA to go to Hershey Park and Dutchwonderland though, so that may be enough as we need to save now to go back to Disney next summer, so Niagra may have to wait another 2 years!
Well, its a nice size big lake, but not too
big. You have your competing sides of the lake. Basically half of it is in NJ, and other half in NY. As far as I know, its rather a depressed area - not much in the way of work up there, so lots of low to low middle income people. But, that said, they are a very warm community - I lived on both sides, Hewitt, which is NJ side, in a tiny log cabin that was like fairy land. It was so cool. Unpaved road and little cabins in the mountain. Very dangerous roads in winter all around the lake, lots of fatal accidents. Sorry! Big attraction up there were a few bars/clubs scattered around border of lake. So lots of late night DUIs and accidents. That's about all that anybody did up there was drink! Literally. And most of us were bartenders, waitresses, etc. However, tourism really bottomed out up there, so again, times are tough. Great buys on houses, though, if you work out of area. Mahwah I believe is within commuting. Don't know much about schools, but would guess they are so/so. I believe West Milford might be the NJ school district. They definitely don't have their own schools, last I looked! New York side very depressed area - Monroe is nice and close by. Again, if you personally have $$, it would be a great place to buy a nice house on the lake. Boating galore, but sort of crowded. Great ice skating in winter. Very much a small town atmosphere - very rustic and tough in winter. I loved it there, but again there was no income other than restaurant industry. Back then I did not transcribe! Good luck to you! From another Lori!
Canyon Lake is gorgeous. We go there
to go swimming a lot. My grandparents had just bought some land out in Burnet right before they died and had about 35 acres. It is gorgeous out there too. If I moved, I am pretty sure we would move further North in that area....probably close to Austin, but on some land.
Have you tried the Drs. Foster and Smith veterinary website?
Great site!

I hope your doggie's feeling better soon.
Some boxes, like Mrs. Smith's pies, say distributed by
Schwann company in So. Carolina, but they are all made in Mexico (my cousin is long distance truck driver, sees them transferring the boxes from 1 truck to another.) Fig Newtons made in Mexico. Big problem with the border guards from US because their uniforms and ID badges made in Mexico and many of them are stolen or sold in Mexico which allows access of illegals into US. Nothing is made in US anymore.
absolutely perfect 73 in Lake Stevens, WA NM

Does anyone know anything about the Greenwood Lake area of New York?

OMG - I have been wanting to go to Lake Tahoe for some time now!!! Tell me more......sm
where did you stay, how fun was it?

I want to go and just chill, do some fishing and boating, and fine dining.....

Good for you....I am so jealous right now!

Anna Nicole Smith's son died yesterday (sm)

I don't know circumstances but that is so sad.  Her daughter was just born a few days ago.  Then to have her son die just days after that.  I can't imagine what a roller coaster of emotions that would be.  I know that Anna Nicole is over the top, but she seemed to love her son very much.  Very sad.

Dr. Smith in Miami would be easy to find; it's Dr. Rodriguez

Lake Champlain "cabin" 5 feet from the water, across
The water was so clear, you could canoe out from the shore 30-40 feet and still see bottom. When storms came up, the whole lake turned GREEN. Gorgeous, cold water, GREAT canoeing and hiking and tennis. Great forests.
Let me add to a good marriage, a cup of coffee while sitting on a deck overlooking a lake at 6 in
the morning - good English-speaking doctors who do a very long pulmonary consult who speaks so well that I have left absolutely no blanks and whose report gave me approximately 150 lines in just under a half an hour.  Oooh, how I dream I could have a guy like this all day!
Saugatuck, MI is great dog friendly place if you want to go N. Try Lake Shore Reality. Google em.

I live in Houston on Lake Houston - (sm)
Kingwood and Humble school districts.  We are pretty much in the country where we are, but only about 15 minutes but shopping, 30 minutes to downtown, so you can have both good schools AND country living, or closer in, more like city.  In regard to the other poster, I have heard that Cy-Fair is a good school district, one of the best, so I hear - the only problem with living out there is that it is on the west side of Houston and is highly populated, and traffic is horrendous.  Even on a Saturday morning, it can take you 15 minutes to go 2 miles.
only path.....only path....only path to the mountain
