Some other sources of mold and mildew

Have you checked the attic for a roof leak? Sometimes a small leak, over several years, can cause water to seep into drywall and cause mold and mildew that is very hard to detect. Also, what about carpeting? One wet spot that goes unseen, or even a pad soaked through, can cause mold and mildew. It might be worth the time and money to have a home inspection done, with the specific purpose of finding the source of the problem. These guys can be very good at uncovering all kinds of things! I am with you - one should not need to be on meds in order to live some place, especially not a weekend getaway! Best of luck.

Mold and mildew problems sm
I have a problem affecting my health. Have a weekend getaway that I believe has a mold/mildew problem which cannot be seen with the naked eye. I can smell it, have "cleaned" as much as I can with Clorox. My DH denies there is any mold in the house, yet I cough and wheeze each time I spend time there. Just had an inhaler and antibiotic prescribed by our MD for a cough that has made me miserable for several days. Anyone have any suggestions on how to handle suspected mold problems? Men seem to pooh pooh this idea; yet I have a definite allergy to mold and mildew proven in skin testing years ago. Help! I'm miserable. I should be just grateful to have this place but what good is it if it's making me sick, literally.

STRAWBERRIES/MOLD

Does anyone know how to keep strawberries from going moldy.  I have tried taking them out of their orginal container and leaving on the counter or putting them in the refrigerator and they go moldy after a day.  I have left them in their container and they still go moldy.   TIA

My sources have told me this....
That yes, they do offer insurance to their employees, but unfortunately, most of them don't make enough money at their job that they can even afford it.  I don't have a source to quote on where I heard this, but I'm sure if one did some research they could back this up.  I belong to a newsgroup about Wal-Mart practices and I've seen this mentioned many times.

Sources for affordable health insurance for ICs?
Does anyone have any ideas where an IC can buy affordable health insurance? It would just be for me, no dependents. Thanks.
What is the advantage to having a book over using reliable Internet sources?
and yes I KNOW not to believe everything you google, but there are reliable sources.  Why buy a book every year?  Not arguing at all, just want to know your rationale.  Thanks!
Look at a large book store. They have big catalogs filled with sources
