If I start having a lot of trouble with it, I just hang up and call back...sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It could be your internet company or Vonage. If your internet slows down or goes dead on you, you will start having trouble with Vonage too as the phone calls AR routed through the internet. That is the only downside, but I have used Vonage for about 3 or 4 years now and I am very satisfied.
