I don't know if this is the same study, but the link below connects to a report that the World Health Organization mayl soon list working the graveyard shift as a probable carcinogen.  No doubt, if the insurance companies can take advantage of this NEW finding, they will.

It seems to me that those who would be most affected would be those who NEVER sleep in the dark at all and those who switch back and forth between day and night sleeping, really confusing the circadian rhythm.

I think this is one of those so-called studies that has simply taken a common-sense fact a step further.  Of course your health is affected if your sleep patterns are inconsistent and insufficient.  It is likely that you would suffer from high blood pressure and other illnesses as well.  According to other studies, those who are sleep-deprived are also more likely to overeat.

The chemical is melatonin.  One can take a supplement of melatonin and, in fact, it is available as a sleep aid, but this STUDY reveals that the body becomes less able to produce the chemical after a time of taking the supplements.  It is also notable that long-term sleep deprivation seems to also have the same effects on health.  So, it is hard to tell whether this study applies to all graveyard shift workers or just those who consistently are deprived of sleep.

Wow, that really must have messed YOU up.
That's all I can say about that.
That is messed up!
What the h***? Why is he dictating or furthermore why is he a doctor in America if he can't understand a white female. A majority of patient's here are Americans so if there is a language barrier then what is he doing practicing without a translator? How can he provide good care to a patient if he can't get an accurate history due to language barrier? That just seems crazy to me.
oops, messed up
Meant for the previous message to go out to CalMT, not Trish.  Sorry.

single mother."  BOO HOO
Please ignore the above post. I messed up.
I work as an editor for SS. I had problem getting my lines in every day and for a while was doing 1890+ in 4-5 hours. However, after they changed my pay to w/o spaces at their whim (as I had been paid for spaces for the first 4 months I worked there), I just decided I did not care and I do just enough to get 945 in my 4 hours. They are constantly wanting extra help in editing, which I used to pitch in and help as well, but now I don't simply because of the pay change.
That should be wasn't a problem for her..see got me all messed up now!!

Bayscribe Screen got Messed Up - Any help?

Hi,

I accidentally hit a key or keys (maybe Ctrl.-something) and now my Bayscribe screen has tiny text appearance, hard to make out some words. It does not appear to relate to the "Customize" button in the upper right corner. No matter what I choose there, it still looks the same, or nearly the same, Just tiny type for all text and headings, boxes, etc.

Thanks a bunch,

Dave
Reading my own post .. .i realize I messed it up!

McAfee is huge bloatware. It messed up our PC.
And it's nearly impossible to remove. I had to physically remove some of the files from the registry to get it all off. Many would say "you need administrator rights to edit" but I was logged in as administrator at the time. I won't ever, EVER put any McAfee file on my computer again. It is almost definitely slowing down your computer. The best advice I can give you is to get rid of every single McAfee-related program and get AVG or Avast antivirus software instead. Not only is McAfee a big resource hog, we had viruses get through on it and Avast caught them. I try to tell everyone I know because McAfee comes bundled on computers a lot these days.
When I copy my resume to the ads on the job board it gets all messed up, dates on the wrong line,
and I have to straighten it all back out again, so that the name of the hospital that I worked at is on the first line, then the dates worked there, etc.  My question is, do I need to straighten this out or does it just mess it up more for the person who is trying to print it out who receives it.  It is perfect when I copy it from MSword, but then when I paste it, it is messed up.  Should I straighten it out to look right because the place that is hiring will read it from that place that I copied it to or should I leave it the way it was originally because they will open it to a larger screen and it will appear normal again?!  I'm not sure which I should be doing so that the person on the other end gets a normal appearing resume!  Thanks for your help!
Did you check and see what's checked or not checked in Preferences. Maybe something got messed up

How do you set your computer back 1 day. I messed something up and need to go back 1 day.
