I really appreciate everyone tips and pointers.  I just get myself worked up because my husband might be losing his job in January and there is no way in H*&^@ that we can survive I what I make now.  I did get a part time job that will help make up the income and I can get my mind off of it for a few hours a week.  I do use shorthand, but I think I am rushing myself, trying to get the numbers that the company I am working for wants me to get, I do the best I can trying to find all the errors, but still miss.  I like working as an IC rather than have certain hours I have to be on.  With a 4 year old on me all the time, I have to be able to get up and take care of her when she needs me.  I currently do ER, OR, sleep studies, consults.  Some of the doctors are the same over and over so I have used the Expanders to do the bulk of the typing, just changing what is different.  I also have a huge problem with ESLs, just cannot get them.  Another thing, I have epilepsy and take Depakote.  I have wondered if this is making it harder for me to retain some of the information.  I am not wanting to make up excuses, but does/can this medication make it hard to retain information?  Anyone?   Well, thanks again for all of your support.  I reall DO appreciate it.  Gives me a boost.  Thanks.
