Yes we are much more than typists. We have to listen to these bumbling idiots, slurring their words and not even speaking the English language. We wear many different hats, foreign interpretors, doctors, pharmacists, English teachers, etc. We can be all of those with our knowledge and skills and what do we get paid? NOT MUCH for all of the aggravation.
I think I am in the wrong profession. I have been an MT for 25 years and have been happy until my transfer to the Amherst office. What a joke.
