Thank you. Is there a way to accurately (m)

count lines in Word without using a separate program? It will give you the line count, paragraph count, word count, etc. but are they accurate (don't seem to be quite)? Years ago when I worked in a facility, they told me to add three of those values (lines, characters, and something else) and divide by the characters per line. Just wondering if there's ANY way to get an accurate count w/o a paid counting program, just to get the count on some documents. Thank you!

how long before you transcribe accurately?

Just wanted to know how long it took some of you out there before you were off of QA? I am talking about when you were fresh out of school, just starting your first job. I know that everyone is different, but I am curious about how the average person does.

I am almost a month into my first job and still on QA. Most dictators I do well on (all clinic/office notes) and I have even got quite a few with 100% accuracy. A couple of them make me feel like I don't know anything.

So what's the consensus?

Exactly, and if Kathleen Blanco had accurately assessed the
for her job as the mayor of the city was. Incompetency, poor emergency planning skills, and not calling the feds days earlier is what the problem was.

But I'm sure George Bush caused the hurricane, the evil evil person he is. Good grief, the liberal loony finger-pointing continues.
I think how accurately you type is a better indication of a good MT!
