I've actually been working off of a laptop because my desktop kicked the bucket, and I know that is probably some of the problem, since I sit at a table with it. My wrists do rest on the laptop and I put a towel underneath my arms so they are straight all the way to my elbows, and I sit on a thick pillow (mostly so my bum doesn't fall asleep on the dining room chair!)

I'm going to look into getting a used tower for my desktop so I can transfer everything back over there, or see if I can get a docking station for my laptop to hook into.

I do wear a splint on my left hand that has the hard plastic that goes underneath and the support bar that runs along the top to keep my wrist straight. I usually wear it while typing, but I have been wearing it nonstop for the last week to try to get it better.

It's not as sore now, but as soon as I start typing with it it starts to hurt and I can feel it behind my middle and pointer finger all the way up to my elbow.

I'm going today to see if she can at least give me some prescription relief, because the Ibuprofen doesn't seem to be helping anything. Of course they've had me on nothing but Lortabs for the last two years for chronic migraines, so everything else seems like Pez now!

Thanks for the picture! That was really nice of you!
