Thanks for the replies, everyone!! He just decided to go ahead and let me go, which is fine with me. He said I took a nasty attitude with him but I tried to be friendly to start with. But he said that I should had the decency to tell him what the new job I was taking paid so they could match it, implying that I was only leaving for more money. But that wasn't the only reason, and I was offended that he would think that. Yes, better pay is good, naturally, but I am getting direct deposit which my old job did not offer and was not planning to, and a much more flexible schedule which I really need right now. It is about so much more than money, you know? Thanks again!!!
