Please dont take this wrong, but you are way too worried about this. Why would you have to notify your employer you are going out of town to work? If you were moving...yes...because then you would be a legal resident...but you are merely "going on vacation," so to speak. If you have a good relationship with your account manager, I'd just say "Im going on vacation but still plan on working." No biggie. Your tax information would not change. I worked from Iowa this summer and am about to leave on a trip to California.....working from both places. No one cares....
