 Thank you for the complement!
Truthfully, I did not even know what a "blog" was before Oct 23. I'm a quick learner, and maybe I drew on the 9 years of system administration I had in a law firm before becoming an MT (and maybe His hand was with me). I had a great day today! I hope this info helped someone. Be blessed.
 Thanks for the complement sm
I let mine lapse too for lack of interest. But, this is something I am thinking about doing to get myself back on track. I may never do much MT again, but it seems potential employers are so caught up with this stuff. My MT speaks for itself. BTW, I know I have some bad grammar and some typos but right now I don't care aqnd am not correcting. I just got out of the hospital aqain and don't quite care today! haha I have chronic pancreatitis and it flares and we spend a week in the hospital 5-6 times a year.

Enuf of that. I too started when it was all the good old USA and AAMT came in at the beginning of my career.

I have never had a problem getting a job in MT. Take a test and its done. The last place I worked at for a year before getting out altogether they didn't even test me and we had no problems.

I worked for the BIG MT company for 23 years which will remain nameless but is not hard to figure out and then did a year at a new place before having to get out because of my health.

I am just trying to get back to working at least part-time and take advantage of being able to go to school right now. Might as well get as much schooling as I can while I can. The CMT thing is more of a "mental" thing than anything. I try to do anything I can to keep the mind active, keep working at least part time.

 Take care
