I just wanted to thank all of you for your posts regarding mine.

Lyla is right.  I'm doing much better without the expander,and it continues with each shift. 

To the poster who said you get paid for all characters that appear on the screen, I'm wondering if the posts by "anon" and TNMT haven't probably hit the nail on the head.  On each pay stub, our actual number of Keystrokes for that pay period is listed, and next to it the number of lines this translates into. 

So, again, I'm thinking for sure that only the keystrokes you actually type to get the expanded word or phrase into the report is what's counted.  Those would be my actual keystrokes. 

As to your question, Katie, I'm not working any harder, still get the bad along with the good dictators, still take breaks here and there. 

And Lyndia, thanks for your kind offer but the info in your post is WAY over this old dog's head.  Just setting up the word Expander was a challenge for me.  I think I'll have to be happy with whatever I can produce, as is.
