It seems like everyone you talk to is fed up with their job. No one is terribly satisfied with work these days. Most are making less money, working more hours for less pay. Benefits are nothing to write home about.
Yeah sure, you can make homemade soap, take pictures, make wine, knit a sweater, quilt a comforter and that is all fine and dandy, but it's not going to pay bills or make you better off.
Being happy with less is the ticket to living these days and being frugal and thrifty and being happy doing it.
Look at all the college grads working menial jobs or can't even find work because they have no experience.
