Stop telling me how to punctuate!!!!!
I have at least two doctors that say *comma* after every single sentence. It drives me crazy!! If they had their way the whole report would be one long run on sentence. UGH!!!
Run! Fast! Don't stop! LOL. I hate onc. nm

I hate those but I hate trauma notes on children even more sm
I used to work for a large hospital that saw a lot of children for various horrible things.

The very last one I did was a 12yo boy who had hung himself while his mother was at work. She thought he was in school. The doctor cried, I cried (as I usually did) and I just couldn't handle that anymore. That was the longest report I swear. Short in lines but the length was almost an hour. The doc didn't pause the machine, she cried, horrible gut wrenching sobs, and I did too, right along with her.
going strong.
reunited after high school at a local night club. I married a former classmate 18 years ago.
The BBB is not as strong as some like to believe
Companies join it if they wish - it is not a requirement - if you are a member and someone complains then they might get involved if it is something they can do - but I seriously doubt they would get involved in $$$ issues.  As far as I know - if your business is a member they make record of the complaint and whether or not the issue was resolved..... I would file a claim in Small Claims Court for the amount owed you by this company.
If you say I am rich and beautiful...will I be?

get rich quick
i'm looking to make extra money without having to do much.  I've researched online and am even thinking of buying that book from that question mark wacky guy "free money from govt."  Some programs that I have saved are secret shoppers and some other things, like real estate investor.  Can anyone recommend anything out there that is NOT a scam, where you can make thousands in a month, not spend any of your own money, and has anyone bought that crazy guy's book about getting free money?
GET RICH QUICK..

Thats just for the lucky people that come upon something by accident.  lol.  If your looking, it will never happen.  If you ask most rich people how they got rich, they will say I worked real hard for it, or I just got lucky...   I tryed looking in to a few of the get money things, but they all seemed to be SCAMS to me..  If you do find any though, let me now.

Yes, if he was rich and good-looking.

How strong is your ESL experience?
At least, in my area. But ESL? I don't care for ESL and I know I could not type ESL day in and day out. Something to think about??!
Be strong, but be careful. sm

He sounds like the type that knows better than to come to your house and violate a protection order, but you never, ever know and it's still early yet. Keep your doors locked.

My ex was "pre-protection order"  (i.e. many years back) and he got through the basement window and was sitting at my kitchen table in the pitch dark. I can still hear him sneer, "Did you have fun with your boyfriend?"

I was grocery shopping and my mother was watching the kids. I got lucky because he really didn't want to kill me, just control me.

He finally gave up on me when I found and eventually  married  a great guy that doesn't expect me to fold towels in high heels and "poofy hair".

Sad part of that story is that he also disowned his own kids. But, after 15 years, the kids have realized that it was neither my fault or theirs. Their "father" lives with me. Their "donor dad" is living 5 miles away, a recluse, and drinking himself to death.

I send him a case of vodka on his birthday every year. Just kidding!

Keep strong. You can do this. Now, about the satellite,

you can move it with you.  If you move to a place where it isn't available, you're out of the contract easily.  My son actually moved to a place where when they tried to set the satellite they found that the neighbor's trees were an obstruction and you're obviously not going to ask a new neighbor to cut down or even into trees, so they let him off the hook, no problem.  The phone company should not be a problem as long as you're moving, again you can just move it with you, unless you're moving a long distance and then you'll just cancel this one and get another wherever you move to.

I do think you need to keep this in perspective with your kids.  They are losing their daddy (almost like he died to them) whether they feel good about it right now or not.  It really couldn't hurt for all of you to get into counseling.  Eventually it will be a problem for your kids when they "miss daddy" and they "forget" (and they will since they are of young age) how bad things were when you were together.  Of course, this is JMO and others might see things differently.

You can do it, we'll all pulling for you and saying prayers for you and your children.

Stay strong!!
I started my son in preschool and he got so sick, that I decided to keep him home with me. I've been a Transcriptionist since before he was born and I figure I could teach him myself. I sent to the local educational store and got a few things. This worked out fine for the both of us. He became healthy and stayed healthy. I know you stated you didn't think you could do this but it's not that hard. On the other hand, when my son did start school I kept a close eye on his teachers. There was one teacher where him and her just didn't get along. He would come home totally unhappy almost every day of the week. I gave it about three weeks, then decided I would get him changed to another teacher. This worked perfectly. He is now in 4th grade and has been getting either honor roll or principal's honor roll every since. You are the master of your child's future, not the teachers. They are human and a few of them will not click with your child. I taught my son until he could start kindergarten. When he started kindergarten, on his first day he came home and stated "Mom I knew all the work in school. I did it all and it was easy." That was my shinning moment in life. Always remember you are the mother of your daughter and you have to make decisions for her, even though some people will tell you different. Your child's education is in your hands, not the teacher's. Now days we have too many children growing up too fast, especially the girls. She sounds like a real sweet child and is doing appropriate things for her age. One more note, every though you don't think you can teach her, you can. It is so much easier than you think. Even if you just get something for her to write her ABC's and her name would be a real plus. You can search online for things to give your daughter to do at home in her spare time. If she gets tired easily when writing then you can help her by giving her extra at home, just 30 minutes or less everyday to do. She will do just fine and will show that teacher one day that not only was she ready for school but look how far she has gone. STAY STRONG MOM, MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN THERE AND SURVIVED. YOU WILL TOO! Hugs to the both of you!!
yep!! VERY strong in numbers!!! nm

rich men versus poor men
I would take a blue collar over a white collar any day.  Blue collar men are more down to earth, can take care of things around the house, do not worry so much about their looks (thats my job), are way more attentive and treat a woman like a lady, all the while being rugged and in charge.  White collar men are metro, cold, corporate, skirt chasers, insensitive, arrogant.  Love over money all the time for me.  Even if I sit and wait for it until I turn gray, I will never settle for less than that.
eat foods rich in zinc

Not having enough zinc can make smelling and tasting things like a festive holiday meal a real challenge. Here’s why: The cells in your tastebuds and nose that help you to smell depend on zinc. In fact, cells in the salivary glands make a zinc-dependent protein called gustin that is secreted into your saliva. An important contributor to your sense of taste, gustin helps develop cells that can distinguish among different flavors.

Although zinc deficiencies are pretty rare in the United States, it’s worth asking your doctor to test for a deficiency if you are experiencing taste and smell loss. Many things can lead to a deficiency, including poor eating habits, alcoholism, certain drugs, kidney disease, and the stress of surgery or serious burns.

"If I discover a zinc deficiency, I typically recommend 25 milligrams of zinc picolinate twice a day to start," says Dr. Silbert. Of course, you can also eat more of the foods that contain zinc. Your best bet is seafood such as cooked oysters and crab. Meats such as lean beef and lean pork also provide zinc, but they’re not really recommended because they are high in saturated fat. Other sources include eggs, whole grains, nuts, and yogurt. If you plan to take more than 20 milligrams of zinc a day, it’s best to do so under your doctor’s care.

Insurance companies get rich
If you look at the profits, insurance companies are getting rich.  They are the ones pocketing all the money.  Plus probaby the hospitals are not far behind. I feel the same, my docs are not getting rich.

Peter Strauss and Nick Nolte...I loved that show.  Never could decide who was cuter - Strauss or Nolte!
It's morally reprehensible that those rich

LOL! Housekeepers are no longer for the rich

Hope you're okay with the train tracks.  Wouldn't want you to have to transcribe your own visit note?  or

Anyway, if me and hubby's workload keeps increasing, we'll have to call back that housekeeper.  We have more time (a little :) without having kids - so I can just imagine - but still...so much to do, so little time.

Well..have a good evening...uh...morning!

Nice to have a rich hubby, but many of us can't
It's easy to tell people to live below their wage, but when their wage is already too low to live on, then what?
Ok, did I say rich?? Point of fact...

we live below our means, which means we save cash for what we want, don't charge silly impulse items, realize that retirement is right around the corner and it is our responsibility, not the government, to take care of ourselves. My point is that many people have bought more house than they could afford, have high car payments, credit cards are charged to the max, have to keep up with the Jones' and then complain about being broke. While I agree that economic times are tough now, there are many people out there who have spent themselves into hard times without and now regret it, but sure didn't want to live on a budget when times were good. Look how lazy the younger generation is now...they expect everything new now, don't want to work for anything because their parents over indulged them, they come out of college expecting to make six-figures and have an easy life.

Don't get you panties in a wad over my opinion....it's just that...my opinion, we are all allowed to have them, this is still America, right?

but mine is 12 years old and still going strong.

Yeah I did. 13 years and going strong. :)

We are so proud of you...now STAY STRONG!!!
He will be trying to worm his way back into the household. Be firm, be strong! Set a time limit (in your mind, but to him also should he start begging) that you WILL BE SEPARATED FOR A SET AMOUNT OF TIME no matter how much he begs or how much you might start to miss him. Maybe 6 months or thereabouts. By that time, I think you will be SOOOoo glad you booted him out!

Please let your community's support system know you need a little help. Get the word out that you need a car. I'll bet a car shows up! Probably not a real spiffy car, but transportation nonetheless! Let your neighbors (if you have any)know what the situation is so they can be on the lookout for him and watch over you.

Please accept help and counseling from whatever community support groups there are to help bolster you resolve!!! If you have a neighborhood patrol (depending on your area...here, we have senior citizens that patrol neighborhoods in police cars, checking homes for people on vacation, etc) have them swing by the house often just to make a statement that someone is watching out for you. Even the police might do this if you are not out in the boonies. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU AND KEEP US POSTED.
You just stay strong, he will try to wear you out.

The answer to a strong business...
Your comments regarding "happy" and "unhappy" MTs are chilling.  When I, as an MT, see my physician I always ask for a copy of my chart note just to make sure that everything is "in order."  About 10 years ago, I found on one of my physician's dictation, just by accident mind you, that my weight was listed as 417 pounds; I weighed 135 pounds.  While that may seen insignificant, it was nonetheless an error!
You are coming across as being very strong armed
They are employees and they cannot just go in there and strong arm their way in and make demands.  They can sit and talk with them and tell them what they would like but if they accept the job as it is, that is what they took and must work with.  She never said, but if they are doing EMR's some of those programs will not work or read some of the word based commands or whatever you want to call them.  I have worked on three programs, two were semi compatible with Word and the other definitely not.  Could not cut and paste into it.  But I knew what I was getting into and if I did not like it, there was the door and I could leave.  Sounds to me as though the doctors have found out that they do not have time to do the charting and want them to catch them up.  They did not write the program to be transcription friendly probably.  Again, I agree that they should have some of these tools but you are coming across as though  you are pounding your fist and saying, just do this, this and this and it is the company's equipment and not theirs.  Sorry if I took you wrong but that is what I hear.  She does not have to take the job.
Rich parents, huh? I bet they're so proud of their little girl ...
I can't figure out why she keeps doing this - she's so easy to trace and she gets caught so easily.  I guess she's a couple sandwiches short of a picnic.   I hope everyone sees her name on this board.  Her name will be mud in this industry and maybe whoever is employing her will kick her to the curb and give her job to a decent, deserving person.  I wonder if she's even an MT, now that I think about it ...
hence the difference between a rich skank & a poor one is?

WE ARE RICH compared to REAL third world nations
like those hit in the tsunami.  Do you live with three generations in a dirt floor hut?  Are you a farmer, fisherman, or hard laborer?  Do our people have malnutrition and low fetal birth weights?  Do you worry about where your next meal is coming from?  No, we're the fattest nation in the world.  We have a lot to be grateful for but people still want more.  You can sit there behind your computer screen in your heated house while drinking lemonade and tell us all how poor you are, but I don't believe it for a minute.  Your life could be a lot worse.
I know the feeling! I don't have what it takes to "get rich quick."
So many people are charging other people for "information" or other useless garbage, but I can't scam other people. Work ethic and morals is all I've got. I haven't published a book yet. I couldn't find anything to sell on ebay. I have no imagination or real talent. So many other people have talent, skills and imagination. I'm not special at all. LOL
Headline: Poor Funding of Rich Seen as Unsustainable.
"DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) — Massive flows of capital from the emerging to the developed world are unsustainable and risk damaging both poor and rich countries, some of the world's top finance officials said on Saturday.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet said that the current global investment pattern was "profoundly abnormal" and in no country's interest.

"It is not sustainable in the long run that the emerging world would finance the industrial world. It doesn't correspond to the interest of the emerging world, neither to the interest of the industrialised world," he said.

In a similar vein, Indian Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said countries like his, one of the emerging stars on the global economic scene, were under threat.

"Global imbalances are deepening and that has serious consequences for developing countries like India," he said.

The United States is currently seeing huge inflows of capital from the developing world, notably China, that are financing its current account deficit, bolstering the dollar and keeping long-term interest rates low though bond purchases.

The danger to the world economy is that when the inflows eventually dry up there could be sharp economic and market dislocations.

"There are potential triggers that could create serious consequences for the global economy. The first is a southward movement of the dollar, the second is an unexpected increase in U.S. interest rates ... Thirdly, (a spiral in) energy prices... will lead to inflationary expectations," Chidambaram said.

U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary Robert Kimmitt said that his country needed to play its part to solve the imbalances but also called on China again to let the yuan currency strengthen.

"The U.S. needs to increase savings, starting with a reduction of the budget deficit," he said. "China needs to move its currency to be driven by underlying market forces soon." The growing significance on the world economic stage of countries such as China and India has been a major theme this week at Davos.

U.S. officials such as Kimmitt have been keen to say that they are not expecting any immediate change in the flow of funds from China in particular and that U.S. financial markets are robust enough to handle a change.

There are some concerns on the bond market, however, that China is losing some of its appetite for Treasuries.

India's Chidambaram, meanwhile, said that he expected flows from China would change as local consumption grew.

"I think the direction of exports will change. A country like China will be forced to stimulate domestic demand ... I'm not judgmental about China. The people of developing countries have to have a higher consumption of goods and services," he said. "
