I get the work from the clients, i divide this work up for the MTs and send it off to them. I get the work BACK from the MTs and send it off to QA. I get the work back from QA and send it to the client. All the while speaking with clients who want the work NOW (5 min after they gave it, but yet don't want to pay for STAT). I do schedules. I reassign work for MTs who decided they want the day off at a seconds notice (same with QA). I end up typing work because no one can cover while i am answering the phone, sending faxes, recieving faxes. It goes on all day and sometimes BEYOND 8 hours.

        well it's really down to the nitty gritty pay issue. everything is relative pressure-wise - doncha think?

        how about switching it around and telling the people who run the show that you really can't - Bonus buddies?

        why you would be in the position to make the changes looking at the big picture wouldn't you? - Supervise this.

        Because they think they know all there is to know..and your job is to just get the job done. - You have no pull with them, you are another number

        I think I did not speak clearly about the just showing up MTs - its a problem with the hiring process..not the MTs

        Point was is the person willing to make up for the slack of the person who types 1 job when there is - a ton of work on the system. That is the point.
