Toddlers/Preschool

In Reply to: being productive with an infant...? - Jenn

I have two toddlers/preschoolers.  My daughter just turned 3 and my son is 4 and a half.  I think it is getting HARDER instead of easier for me to be productive and meet my line counts!!  Some days I just want to pull my hair out.  Sorry, I don't have any advice.  I just needed to vent a little.  LOL

it's easier to do with a baby than toddlers or preschoolers.
impossible as children grow older and don't need naps and do need supervision.
Can you take her out of preschool this year SM

and look at it again next year?  Kids are ready for school at different times and this might not be her time.  What isn't helping also is that the teacher seems to have targeted her as not fitting in and this isn't going to be a good situation for her to be in.

I personally think they want way too much out of a 4-year-old or a 5-year-old - don't feel like just because your child is a certain chronological age she must attend school in a specific grade.

Well said! My daughter was in preschool
3 half days per week and I was the one crying the first day. She was like, "bye mom!"

That's a bunch of bull to say that kids who don't go to daycare are not prepared and cry all day. Geez....
