I agree with the above person.  There is no way you should be looking up patients on Google.  Your job is to type what you hear and move on.  It is the doctor's fault for not following the patient more closely or doing his own "Googling" (even though I wouldn't suggest that either).  Patient privacy means you can't tell anyone what you hear or find out elsewhere.  Your boss does not need to know.  If this patient wants to keep doped on drugs and get put back in jail, let him.  You will be a lot happier just staying out of this one.  Protect your job and stop looking up patients for spellings.  The more names you spell wrong the sooner your doctor will start spelling them for you!!
