In Reply to: Quick wedding poll time... - Happy bride-to-be

Am a first time older bride, plus I am getting married out of door, in July, so I definitely will not be wearing a veil with my traditional long wedding gown.  My hair may be up or down, but either way I'll wear a delicate tiara with a few small fresh white flowers interlaced within it.   Who says you need a veil?  I think only if you are a very young first time bride, the big covered face veil, pulled up for The Kiss after the I Do's, is very dramatic and a show of "pureness" and quite sweet actually, but for anyone who does not fall into that category (me!), a veil is just an accessory you can choose to wear or not wear.  Congratulations to you and your hubby-to-be  !
