I was told when starting VR that its like starting all over (except you have lots more knowledge) but it takes awhile to get your line counts back up and I agree. It has taken me 3 months to get up to speed. Where I am they figure we should double our straight typing rate. Give it some time, make goals for yourself per hour etc.
