Situations such as your's are very sad and I feel sorry for both you and your daughter. It is a proven fact that true victims (children) of sexual abuse tend not to tell anyone, feeling that somehow it is their fault. There is a VAST difference between yourself at age 8-12 and your daughter and the original poster who is being "abused" in her 30's. She posted her story several months ago and received many helpful suggestions. Now she posts yet again, saying she doesn't want to "ruin the holidays for everyone else." Her story just doesn't pass the "smell test."
