I have a Walgreen's on the corner
So I'm going to make sure and pick some up. Thanks so much for the tip :-)
Night splints
Have you tried wearing rigid wrist splints at night to keep your wrists from bending while you sleep?  That really helps me when my wrists are hurting.
Invest in some wrists splints soon. ;) nm

Be sure to wear your splints at night, too.

That has helped to make a difference. I have also invested in a quality keyboard, tilt desktop and wrist rests.

Wrist splints for carpal tunnel....
Go to your local drug store and purchase the best pair available and then wear them nightly faithfully.  They help tremendously!  (At least me, but everyone's different...)
When I have pain, I wear the splints at night.
I also do daily stretching exercises many times a day, stretching the fingers backward to get the kinks out, especially the thumb. The most helpful thing of all is I wear gloves to work. I could not work without them. Try Wal-Mart or Walgreens and try on several kinds to select the one you like best. I also exercise with one of those squishy things that they give you when you donate blood. Helps a lot.
i use cockup wrist splints at night.
it really helps, uncomfortable, but by morning, they feel better.
What sells well on Ebay??..sm

I definitely want to do it at least for extra money.  Tried to sell a Barbie doll, but didn't sell.  Going to try some other stuff, but wondering what sells well.  Clothes?  Kitchen items?

AAMT sells their information.
If you've practically been in contact with AAMT at all, they've got your info and they sell their information to many companies.

Anyone know who sells wrist braces...

for relief?  I have a few but have gained weight, so need one for a "fattier" arm.

TIA!

Who sells comps without Vista?

I'm looking into getting a laptop but everywhere I've gone they all have Vista.  I didn't want to go with a used or refirbed one either, but it's looking like that may be my option right now.  It isn't something I really want to wait on either to see when/if all the programs I use become compatible.

So, is there someplace that give you the option?

dictationwarehouse.com sells that --I have one works great - nm

No matter who sells them Infinity makes

about 99% of the foot pedals, at least the kind you hook to your computer.  The foot pedal is different, thicker, wired differently, and there will be an adjustment period.  You might try loosening the screws up just a tiny, tiny bit and see if that makes a difference.  I have no problem with play but the FF and rewind pedals can be stiff, but I rarely use either one.

There have been some suggestions about putting a folded up towel up against the pack of your pedal so it is thicker than the pedal and that you push down onto the pedal, but your heel is padded from the towel.  I've never tried it so can't say how it works, but I just have the tips of the toes my pedal and it works fine.

Stedman's sells a study guide. NM

P.S. - Sharper Image also sells this same headphone for much more.sm
I should also mention that I recommended this headset to my team when I was supervising because the company-issued headsets were basically garbage. I had a lot of good reactions, but a few people didn't like "over-the-head" style because it smooshed their hair or it just wasn't the best one for them. Hearing is a very individual thing and what works for one might not work for another, but quite a few of my crew got these and most seemed to like them.

These Kensingtons fold for travel (a lot of people use them on airplanes), by the way, and you can use them with any other portable audio like a Walkman or iPod, so I think all my folks kept theirs even if they decided to use them for other things than transcribing due to the fact that it's so inexpensive.
I use ergonomic keyboard, gloves, splints at night, but sometimes what works best is a cool shower.

in-laws raise cattle and sells them-6 available for this fall
a nutritionist also told me that grass-fed cows are rich in omega-3 fatty acids (unlike grain-fed cows). I have tried to offer them to a few friends but none seemed interested.

In-laws used to raise cows purely for family consumption (4 families in all, sharing one cow per year). But interested friends asked last year if my in-laws would be interested in selling. The idea brewed so now we have 6 to go. No buyers yet, though. Grass-fed and roaming freely, with names and treated like pets, cleaned and taken care of like their very own children, we have peace of mind consuming meat of cattle we raised rather than buy from grocery stores. Same thing with veggies. Sad thing we only have 5 months to plant and harvest. I do can what I can (pasta sauces, tomato salsa, pickles, etc.) and store onions and potatoes. My mother-in-law raises chickens also, for year-round egg supply. We buy our milk from a local farm (pasteurized unhomogenized). My sis-in-law gets milk from her own cows, raises pigs and chickens as well. I hope to be able to raise pigs and chickens next year, too. To me, these are the truly good food, not those in the restaurants/grocery stores.
