 It's true that supervisors will ignore it and let it go on, if the honest MTs don't stick up for themselves and say something.  One would assume that the supervisors would hate to lose those MTs who will transcribe the crappy work, and thus have a lot more experience with it and are generally much better transcriptionists.  Luckily my boss's boss seems to get this.  I asked to transfer to a different account a couple months ago, and because there was absolutely no monetary gain for me to move (account with the same level of difficulty), I was asked by my boss's boss why I would wish to transfer, and I told her that it was the cherrypicking, and I had hoped that a different supervisor would be better about doing something about the cherrypicking.  She called my boss and had a talk with her, and after that, I noted a lot of improvement in the situation.  During the week it's a lot better.  On the weekend, however, when there's nobody watching, the cherrypickers have a field day.  I'm supposed to email my boss's boss if I see the cherrypicking again, and I think I might.
