low average for an MT, not average, WITH a middle man. What to charge will depend on several things. For starters, what type of line (65-character, gross, straight, or other). Also, whether digital or on tapes, requiring pick-up, and do they want printing/delivery or electronic delivery.

I think the going rate from MTs directly to doctors' offices in the area I live in, metro Atlanta, is about 12-14 cpl for gross lines, which translates to about 15-18 or 19 cpl for 65-character lines, but what the market will bear in your area is another factor to consider when deciding what to charge. Do not sell yourself short!
