My most embarrassing moment was about 15 years ago. I was assigned to a hospital in Florida that had the worst of the worst ESLs. One day I struggled with this Jack A and when I finished I sent it off to Q.A. (I thought) with a note to her that read, "This guy ought to be shot." Well, how was I to know that my work was routed to the hospital direct even though I thought when I sent something to Q.A. it went to Q.A.!!!! So I get a call from the Director of Transcription and she said, "Dr. ____ was really angry....PLEEEEASE don't do that again." So okay, I never did. If that had happened in the past couple of years there is no doubt I would have been fired on the spot. I really didn't even get a chewing out, she just said a few more times to please not put notes to the Q.A. people on the reports, to please send my notes in a separate email. HAHAHAHA I'm still not sorry I said it. By the way the Q.A. person on the account thought it was hilarious and she totally agreed.
