I have been working at home since my children were born, 18 years now.

I must say, I do not regret being the one to raise them, give them their foundation of morals and values, and guide them during their journey of becoming young adults. I truly fulfilled my wish in that respect.

Now, about the job aspect of it. In my honest opinion, you really can not plan some things when it comes to your career. If you are willing to sacrifice the high-profile corporate job with corporate pay, than go for it. Stay at home and raise your children. It will not be easy or a walk in the park, but it will be well worth it in the long run.

No one can tell you if you will regret anything. Only you know what your dreams and wishes are. I can only tell you that from the mom point of view, my children, now young adults, would not be who they are if I wasn't there for them every step of the way.

As for a job when they go to school.......yeah, you can do that, but remember it will only be maybe $10 an hour, and really not worth it in the long run.

Good luck with whatever you decide......but really, the answers lie within you, and only you can decide what is right for you and your family.
