Does she work inhouse or home, if inhouse does she have internet access? What about finding some websites with specialty related lists for the fieled she is typing. Frankly I feel that looking up the words and reading the definition is the best way to remember a term in the future. That was how I taught myself. Apparently she does not have a good spellcheck program?
I also feel that the OM should not be calling you for advice, that's odd, unless she just did not know how to approach. You might call friend and tell her that OM called you out of concern and recommend that for a brief period she do her own QA, backing up and listening through report after typing it to catch these errors.
What is the field she is typing, possibly we could recommend some reference sites or material.
