She could probably sell the purse on the street for cash, then use the cash for drugs. nm

Care Flow
Is is a productive platform?   Any info good or bad on this platform is appreciated.  Thanks
You are talking about doing over flow...
work as a service, for a hospital.  That's not the same as being an employee.   I work for a hospital and we are ALL at home except for the boss and whoever might be training to go home.  We all access the same server to download our work.  We set our voice wave for "the pool" and we all get what may come.  Nobody is picking our work.  We only get 2 or 3 jobs at a time, send one back, get one more, all day long.  We DO send overflow out to a service, but only clinic notes.  I think the original poster is talking about being an employee, not an overflow person.
The Downhill Flow
I am so sorry you are having to put up with this.  It's a crying shame.  We who have the most experience and make the company and the doctor look good are the very ones who are dumped on with horse pucky the most.  I might add, however, that this is the very reason that I have decided not to stay in the business for much longer, and I tell EVERY NEWBIE I EVERY COME ACROSS, LOUD AND CLEAR, RUN!  DON'T START THIS PROFESSION!  I tell them they will never get the respect or the dollars they deserve.  Too bad for us, we found this out too late.  At least I can warn the up and comers.  Again, if you are looking for sympathy, you got it, sister!
Work flow
Anyone work anywhere w/primary accounts!!!  Switching accounts 3-4 times a day....going crazy
Work flow is excellent but it has its
up and down seasons. I am full time so the slow season does not affect me as much as it affects others as they really take care of their FT MTs.

They have a LOT of radiology accounts so if you are a radiology whiz, you will make great money.

I am on an account that is not overflow, it is the whole account, which might make a difference, but I know that there are about a dozen new radiology accounts starting in the next few weeks.

I have found that if I ask them questions, they answer them, which I did NOT have at my last company. That is how I found out about the new benefits and new accounts. They are also open to suggestions from the MTs which makes me feel like a valued member of a team rather than a number (I worked for the biggest until I made the move). I am just excited because one of my ideas was put into place and I actually got a thank you call and email. At the other one, I was afraid to rock the boat.

I use RadNet on one account and Meditech (Word version) on another but there are a lot of platforms from what I understand.

How's work flow going today?
No work with MQ and just checking to see how others are doing with January work flow.
I'll just leave it at that, why swim against the flow
arguing with women who need all this procedures.

This is actually all so bad for women who really keep their good looks up to their 60s,even 70s, because then not so lucky women say enviously, 'Oh, she had plastic work done!' even if it is not true.
It's your work flow that's such a drag, not you or your software. Wow! Sounds like an

I just said I DON'T have the extra cash.
However, I'm not going to shop there because what comes around, goes around. If I don't support the other small businesses in my area, they won't support my business or my husband's business.
Good for you!! We are the same as far as paying with cash.
It was (and still is occasionally) hard to be patient and save for what you want instead of using credit, but it is so, so, so worth it!!  Nothing like peace of mind and not being "owned" by creditors and employers.  Best of luck to you and thanks for sharing.
Is it unheard of to cash in PTO with national?

I have 75 hours of PTO and wonder if the national I am with (starts with an S and ends with an S) would allow me to cash it in?  This thought just occurred to me so will call HR when I have time to but just wondered if anyone has done this and is it an unreasonable request.

Thanks

Yeah, i need the extra cash
my husband passed away in january. I need the promotion or I have to get a second job and I thought to work at home would be good because I still have a 15 year old at home. Oh well, I was trying to get prepared, but God will provide. I'm sure it will all work out. The hospital I work for has been very good to me so I count my blessings there. Thanks!
The difference between a refi with cash out and a
home line is there is a variable rate with a home equity line of credit. The refi with cash out finance rate is 4.625% right now.
Ew. My DH listens to Johnny Cash and the Highwaymen.
I tell him it's canner music. I've listened to AC/DC for 25 years, but I listen to a lot of other types of music, too. My kids were surprised because they didn't know I listened to AC/DC and they like it, too. They don't like Johnny Cash or the Highwaymen either. At least AC/DC isn't rap or thrash metal. (Angus rules!) My son's learning to play electric guitar and he likes all those old rock bands.
Unless you work in a bank or at a cash register,
doubt they would do a credit check. I remember telling my employer during my interview about my Ch13, explaining the surgery, the divorce, the agony...she sat there and then said "we don't do credit checks." This was at a major hospital. Background checks only.
The reason I don't tip is because I NEVER have a dime on me. I don't carry cash, ever! I don&#
debit card and it's been like that for 4 years. I use a check or credit card for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
I havent had insurance in many, many years, I pay cash and like SM
the poster below I usually get a 20% discount, but you have to call around to find out who will give it to you. My DD had to have an MRI last year and I got a big discount on that too by calling around.

Originally, insurance was intended for hospitalization, not regular doctor visits. I dont know how it evolved into this monster we have now, but it sure has driven the cost up.
hey if you can afford it and a supervisor's approval means more to you than cash, have at it.
i want the luck of the draw.  you think your supervisor is going to pay your bills when she routes crap to you and it takes you twice as long to do a report?  all you do is make her look good and she gets a raise.
It's true that if you cash a check, they are no longer liable, but
with direct deposit, we are not given the choice to cash it or deny it. Wonder how that direct deposit affects that choice.
But you have learned nothing. Ever hear of paying cash for what you want, instead of financing?

Buy him a Johnny Cash CD, my kids are singing their hearts out right now to JC.

Hey if you have the cash more power to you. Obviously the rest of the country doesn't.
Everytime I go into a Walmart I see poor folks shopping and I never see poor folks in high-end stores with la-de-dah staff snubbing them. We just can't afford the prices independents need to charge the consumer.
Seems to be getting paid with a cash "card" instead of a check. Done at other types of

For extra cash I just started donating blood plasma SM

to BioLife, owned by Baxter. They pay about $50 a week for this (put on debit card). Does anyone else do this, and what other things like this is anyone aware of? It's not as gross as it sounds, just like giving blood, and they separate your plasma from the blood and give you your blood back.

slow periods, seek alternative extra cash? sm
Docs, like us, have busy family lives. I found that after Hannukah and Christmas (or sometimes with a break from family stuff) they "catch up" on dictation. Hopefully, this is what still happens. I have a son who is a professional and he likes to go in on Christmas Eve morning because it's so "slow" that he can get a lot of paperwork done. So hang in. Another aspect of today's world is that docs are carrying laptops now as is my family PCP and they are all doing their own notes. I think it's a "wait and see" thing, the world is changing and hopefully there is a survival tool for us somewhere. We are all being replaced by technology, sadly. Only time will tell. I was told several years ago that I should go into "scoping" which is kind of like editing, etc., you go into public stenographers machine gibberish and make sense out of it, kind of like making sense out of what comes back from India. I was offered this but refused to clean up someone else's "mess." Everyone should be thinking of alternative ways to get by, it's never easy. It's sad, as I have put a lot of time and $$$ into a profession that doesn't appreciate my knowledge. From your posts, Blondie, you have a good heart. I hope things get better for you. Try to have a happy holiday. How did you make out with those dogs you took in? Did the owner take them back or at least pay you? This may be an alternative few extra bucks for you. You seem to be an animal lover and a caring person.I don't live near you, but I would rather leave my Golden with you than some kennels around here. Thus, I do not go away if I can't take my dog. Hope things pick up for you work-wise.
I agree -- check, cheque, chex, etc. -- who cares as long as you can cash it? :-) sm
It is rather disappointing to see a bunch of professionals bickering over such a trivial issue.
I keep the minimum amount of cash in the bank. I may sound paranoid but I fully

there to be locked up.  The banks are scampering around if you notice.  They have written notices that they can raise your interest rate to 28% or more for just about no reason on the credit cards.  I think they have let way too much money borrowed out be on the books, and now the little man is having to pay either with money, or his financial credit.

If you read about GOLD, gold is selling for a lot, all over the world, even in this supposed stable time.  That's a sign they say that things aren't as steady as the powers that be want you to believe.
