What does that have to do with it? SM

I am at a loss as to why you think your point about the hospital would change anyone's opinion. "Oh, gee, if the docs are drinking, it must be okay for an MT to have a little wine." Sorry, but I gave up on the "Everybody's doing it" argument years ago.

Any amount of alcohol will have an effect - possibly very slight, but there will be an effect - and you may not even notice because your judgment has been affected.

I personally find it irresponsible and just wrong to drink on the job - even if my employer DIDN'T have a policy forbidding it. This job requires that I be as clear-minded and alert as possible.

Think about this: Would you want your physician, nurse, lab tech, accountant, mechanic, child's teacher, bus driver, etc., drinking on the job?
