you stated yourself :) You wanted to be the one to terminate.

Just be happy you found a replacement that is giving you more work. It's not worth all this energy is it?

Watch for the warning signs of a company not provided what they promise - and don't wait too long to look for a replacement AND don't volunteer any information about how many jobs you have...
