Can't move them back to the bottom where they were, inadvertently moved them when resizing screens.  How do I get them back on the bottom?  TIA
Look over to the left side of your screen..
Good luck.
Is it just me, or have the links (on the left side) been eliminated?

I may have done something to cause how may page loads but I do not get the list of links, like the technical link, equipment, etc., showing up along the left side any longer. Is this a recent change or is is just happening to me because I did something??? If it is just me, how would I change it back. I can't get to any of the other forums unless I click on home and go from there. :(

TIA.

On the left hand side of screen, there is --sm
CONTACT info. They give their email addy's only, which is understandable. Contact the admin and ask for fax number to send info to. pretty simple, if you really want to do it.
Hit the start button and look on the left side of the menu. NM

Links with blue background still on left side for me...
...
All the stuff along the left hand side disappeared. How do I get that back.
:
I have never had links on the left side. I have always had to go back to the home page to get them.

L-shaped desk, bookcase under the left side for my medical references
(homemade by my DH, of course), file cabinet to the left. Phone on the left side of L, mouse on the right, easy reaches for my aching elbows if I keep them in front of me. My desk faces my door to the office (sliding glass doors to the house) so I can see anyone who decides to just come in the door without knocking. If they knock, it takes me a minute or so to get to the door, but that's okay too. Even with my big L-shaped desk, I still have lots of extra clutter that I need to put away, file, throw away taking up my space, but at least I can find everything I need when I need it. :-)
Favorites list , horizontal on the left hand side, IE, version 2002? NM

Flashing Icons

What are the flashing icons beside the job postings on the Job Seeker's Board?  Are they intended to indicate that the jobs have been filled or still open?  Thank you.

I didn't use ANY icons. LOL

I have lost my icons... Help!

I have missplaced all of my icons on desktop. I would like to have those and use instead of having to use start and pick them up from there. Can anyone tell me, step by step, how to retrieve those. Thanks a lot!

ICONS DISAPPEARED
I'm sorry, I see that there are postings already for this.  As you can see, it's driving me crazy.  Thanks
Desktop Icons
go to your desktop and right click, hit new, hit shortcut, and then browse for your page.
how to move desktop icons so .
they won't return to original positions.  I know there is something to uncheck, somewhere, can't find it.  Probably am asking at wrong board.  Thank you for any help.
Setting up icons on desktop
…I have a page that I want to appear as an incon. How to do? Thanks.
Or is it that brew your 2 icons are clicking??
Just kidding. I thought at first you were trying to say a beer wouldn't hurt. Yep, popcorn can liven up the looooooong evenings once in awhile, I know where you're coming from.
Just hit Alt+Shift+left arrow on line 1 and it will go to the left margin. Otherwise,
you need to use a numbered list style to do it every time. Each version is different, but you may already have a numbered list style in yours that stays at the left margin. Just assign a keyboard shortcut to that style.
Every program I bring up is Adobe. All my desktop icons were my IT icon.
But to bring one up, it was the Adobe Flashplayer. I have needed a PT job for two months and cannot apply as Vista is not compatible. Also, ExpressScribe is incompatible with Vista so I could not take the tests. OMG, I paid 1600.00 for this (my first laptop Dell 1330 XPS) on 2/19 and have already had to have a system recovery. Now, nothing will upload and I am told my hard drive has the Conficker virus embedded in it; I am waiting for a new hard drive as I type this.

This totally sucks. Vista has rendered my computer useless. Dell does not sell XP anymore and even if I could get XP, it would not work in this particular computer. Dell is being very unreasonable, stating that even though it has been just over 30 days, I am stuck with this Vista and just "deal with it."

I wanted this to be the last computer I ever bought. Now, it appears not to be true.
Yellow pages

Since my phone is listed under my business name I get a free listing and have gotten quite a few one-time only jobs, seminars, interviews, etc. that really pay well and not needing a 24 TAT and it has worked for me.   Also no 1099's with then as it is a one time job.   Last year got a 10 tape seminiar on pet therapy and it was almost $2,000 for the seminar done in our spare time over 2 weeks.   Just my 2 cents worth.

that little yellow thing
Can anyone tell me what that little yellow moving thing in front of some messages means please?
A 3yo yellow lab and a 2yo golden retriever. sm
Believe me, they keep me busy! The yellow lab is a freak about his rubber ball - has to have it with him every second or he goes crazy. The golden retriever is still very much a baby but is getting better. Both of these breeds are considered a "puppy" until they 3yo, so I'm patiently biding my time til they leave the puppy stage. I love them to death, tho, and can't imagine life w/o them. The lab is the absolute best dog I've ever had. Great with the kids, good protectors.

I have SBC DSL and I use the yellow Ethernet cable.
I'm not much on techie stuff.
red and yellow, black and white--OK
Type as dictated. Oriental male and black male are both acceptable phrases.
Oriental, Caucasian, Filipino, Hispanic, Latino, etc., are all names of peoples/races and should be capitalized.
Color designations of race and ethnicity are not capitalized: black, white.

See BOS 2nd Edition for more information: pgs 366-367, 202, 70.
Just do a search and read the posts. There are plenty of posts about OSI on this board. nm.

It's that yellow hair that makes Brad look old.
Horse Whisperer.  He and Newman both are classics that will ALWAYS be hunks in my eyes!
Go through your local yellow pages and call
companies who advertise they offer health insurance.  Call several companies as the premiums can vary widely, although the coverage will be the same.   I did this and called 6 different companies and the premiums varied as much as $200.00/mo for the same exact insurance.   Celtic was the company that had the best rate for us, but that was nearly 4 years ago.   If you have no pre-existing conditions you can get a temporary insurance through Fortis for 6 months to a year depending on your state, provided that you have not been without coverage for greater than 45 (I think) days.   You can also go on-line to einsurance.com and get an idea of rates, though I still suggest you call local agencies.

Go through you local yellow pages and call
companies that offer health insurance and get a quote.  Call several because the premiums can vary significantly.  BCBS may have a low rate, but they are a pain in the rear to deal with and deny more claims than they pay.
I did my office is yellow-gold with brown
tones and then with thinned brown craft paint ragged on using an old T-shirt.  Turned out great and elegant.   I also did my bathroom in green tones. People think its wall paper. This technique also hides any flaws you may have in your wall because it sort of gives it a 2D effect.

It's supposed to be a flame meaning it is a hot topic receiving a lot of views. You were so close to the answer. =)
Could be the yellow hair but his eyes are puffy too, like Tom Cruise.

12 x 10 light yellow walls, blue ceiling
Desk with hutch and pullout drawer and keyboard shelf, on top of desk and in hutch two transcription units, a clock so I can watch time fly (haha), lots of miscellaneous reference books, most outdated but can't give up, plus large filing cabing, small filing cabinet, two printer stands that match wooden desk and hutch, loaded with more important stuff (yeah, right), one of those organizing paper holders (two stacked on top of each other) with 16 slots for different clients' letterhead, a laser printer (HP of course! LOL), the dozen roses DH bought me for Valentines, dried and looking pretty in the vase, DH's desk and hutch, with his two printers, a shelving system with a bunch of candle and soapmaking supplies (mmm, it smells good in here!), and .... of course! .... my TV. Geez, I can't live without it!
The yellow cable plugs into the back of your computer and (sm)
the other end into the modem. If only one computer is being hooked up, plug it into the slot labeled E1, otherwise you may experience an occasional error message of: "network connection has become unplugged." I hear your frustration regarding ESL "help" technicians -- Vonage is full of them!
my office is mainly a cheery yellow with large windows along 2 walls (sm)
hardwood floors with a throw rug for my dog and plants, plants, plants. The lighting in here is perfect and I feel peaceful when I work, like I was in the midst of a garden.
Grilled beef fajitas with yellow, green, and peppers, red onions,

forget the yellow hair and puffy eyes, his entire face is falling

Um have you read any of your posts and the other posts? I think everyone DOES believe me..you

From the other side
I know how you feel but one day before you know it there'll be no slamming doors, no one talking (or fighting) outside your office door, no one interrupting you, the dishes will be done and the house neat with nothing else needing to be done.  Send 'em over to me for a couple of hours.  I used to couldn't wait for some peace and quiet but it really isn't all that great after all.  Sign me....missing the young 'uns.
On my Mom's side
a cousin actually got a call from the Jerry Springer show wanting her, her husband, and live in YOUNG boyfriend to be on a show. NO KIDDING!!!!

Think of yourself on the other side.....sm
Then, make your decision.

Send the cards, by all means, but don't court work with it. Do the soliciting after the holidays, as you had originally planned. I betcha some of those folks will remember the wonderful holiday card from you!

I think you already know this or you would not have put up this post asking advice. Right?

Enjoy the holidays, wish others to do the same, and then attack! LOL
On the plus side...
I think Paula's hair is better than ever...thank goodness. That's all I have to say about her. ;o)
On the other side of never ..
where else?
Another side.....sm
Although I do agree with everyone that has already posted about this field, I do have quite the opposite story.  I worked for the government for years when I started having my family.  Worked out okay with my first child because I worked nights and hubby worked days and she was always with one of us (which is always an option you could consider).  But when I got pregnancy with my second child, I knew something had to change and I knew I had to make close to the same money I was currently bringing in to keep the household going.  I took a course from At-Home professions (not recommended).  I took this course at home through my pregnancy while still working.  I was then hired by a local clinic to do their notes at home, which I did for awhile as I continued to work nights.  I had the baby and while on maternity leave, I started really sending out the resumes and doing followup calls.  I then landed my first "real" job as a medical Transcriptionist from my home office.  After a couple months, I felt secure in putting in my notice with current employer and the rest is history!  I have been doing it ever since, 14 years now, in my home office.  I do have to say though that if it wasn't for Sandy, the transcription manager, I would not be where I am today.  Through her patience and guidance, I learned more from her than I did my course, so I was one of the lucky ones at that time.  If you are really serious about giving this a shot, I would recommend Career Step or M-Tec for you schooling choices.  You can take these courses at home.  Companies will hire you to work at home right out of your schooling from these two schools.  Be prepared to work hard...there is a lot to learn, but it CAN be done.  I still learn something new every day 14 years later, but I am so thankful I was and still am able to be here for all three of my children.  Not always easy, but very doable!!!  I average about $18 an hour.  Just another side to consider.  Best wishes to you and congratulations on your new baby!  Enjoy:)
