In Reply to: Answers to your questions. I live in Fl. It was my sister - Just me

I didn't mean to be a mama when I asked why you didn't have your seatbelt on.  I was the same way back in the 80's until I had my first child.  I bundled her up, strapped her in her carseat and then thought, "What if I hit something and fly on top of her and suffocate her?"  I've buckled up ever since and she's 23 and won't get in a car unless everyone in her car is buckled.  It only doesn't help in the worst case scenarios where it wouldn't matter anyway.

I'm floored that your sister would actually do that to you in the first place.  What really makes me mad is that the police can take, "I forgot to bring my stuff" as being okay.  No way!  I know my driver license number by heart.  If I get stopped (which I never have in 30 years and no accidents, but still pay $800 a year for insurance) and I "forgot" my wallet, I would still get "held" until they could prove that I was who I was.

Good luck to you.  Put the word out to the DMV and also the police about your sister trying to pass as you.  I know it's hard with family, but you need to save your reputation, family or not.
