I bought an XPS last year and my hubbie got one just last week and we LOVE them.
Good luck buying new without VISTA you better start calling your local stores to see what is available I know Dell wont sell a puter without Vista now. A coworker had to buy new last week and had to drive to multiple stores and finally settled on an E machine (the stores last one that had XP) but paid a pretty hefty price.
