I have worked at a hospital for almost ten years.  And when times get slow, I see a lot of line "cheating",  cherry picking, and back biting.  It is the way of this type of work, I think, which to me is "piece rate" work... I used to work in factories that the more you sewed, parts you added, etc., the more you made.. Same thing in transcription - it is, simply put, "production work".  When work gets slim, there are always some that do not have high work morals or ethics that consider it a "dog eat dog" world and will do what they can to simply take.   I have learned to try to deal with it best that I can and wait for the work to pick up, I won't cheat or take what is not mine, no matter how much I need it, which might account for why I have had this job as long as I have had it.  My integrity and ethics mean way more to me than the extra few dollars losing them would get me...
