I don't know how ASR works, but would love to know what makes it tick.
It makes for an interesting day, doesn't it? You must have had the same docs I had today. Could barely hear the one except when he coughed. One report I had was the same as yours with the dropped words and he was a very good dictator, too.
How could ASR distinguish between 2, to, too? I would think that would be tough to do. All you can do is go with the flow and keep alert.
What drives me nuts is when I'm in a good rhythm and all of a sudden, there's no more ASR, but regular jobs to transcribe in my box. That throws me for a loop.
As for me, I love doing ASR. Gives some good laughs during the day.
