In Europe they use 220 electric and ours is 115 and the plugs are not at all the same. I had a hairdryer that you could switch back and forth, but you still needed a different plug.

I did a quick Google and found this site. It seemed like fairly good information, although as you know, double check...cause on the Internet you never know.

I found a site that has house and apartment rentals in Europe and the UK and many have Internet. Thinking it would be pretty nice to rent an apartment or cottage for a month or so. If I can take my work, why not?

Anyway here is the link I found you might want to check out. Even if you have autosensing you still have the difference in the plugs.
