Our electric ran just under 400 all summer for A/C and our gas (for heat and hot water) is already up to 100. We went to Wal-Mart and bought these little 12.00 utility heaters and use them in the bedrooms at night and only put the big furnace on 50-55. They really heat well considering we have 9 foot ceilings and each room has at least 4 windows in it.
