Plain and simply we eat it because it 'tastes' good but it wreaks havoc on our bodies.  Thats why the population is overweight, a slow moving digestive system from red meat, cheese, dairies.  BUT our bodies are built to accommodate.  Stomachs produce more acids in order to digest these foods (hence one of the newer chronic illnesses GERD/acid indigestion). Our lungs were meant to breathe clean oxygen, but we're sucking down fumes and pollution. Our bodies adapt to what we give it.
