T-Y very much and Truffle, too
I guess I would be better off working as an employee for a company that provides the equipment, software, benefits, etc. I can't afford all this stuff, except that I do need new headphones. I do have DSL, however.

I have acute care experience; however, it is 10 years old. For the past 8.5 years I've worked on a large multispecialty clinic account. I'm sure I'd have no problems with 3 of the big 4. I haven't done ops except for clinic procedure notes in some time.
Oh cool, eat a truffle for me!

Amen to Truffle...
You and me both. I'm on a new account right now that I wished I would have asked more about it. It's 95% or more ESL. AND, they have this strange foot pedal that works opposite of the normal ones. So it's a struggle. But i like everything else about it, but just not making much money even though it's .10 line. I agree with Truffle that we MT's should interview the owners a lot more in depth.
To Truffle - Not a mistake

Do we work for the same company?  How do you know?

Anyway, this was not a mistake or filling in QA.  I don't mind following account specifics, as long as I know what they are.  It is quite a lot of trouble to completely learn and prepare yourself to transcribe **strictly adhering to BOS** and then be told that is not the way it is really done.  Other companies have done this as well.  You need to give account specifics and be sure about them before transcription goes to QA in my own opinion, which means nothing.

Otherwise, I guess I could have worse problems.  Just venting.  And otherwise, I love the company, my account, and my QA.

Key lime truffle....mmmmm....
