You can do it on 8 cpl sm

I aint no newbie either, I have been at it 32 years.  I have done every kind of MT there is except pathology.  Sweat my time through learning everything I could learn.  It depends on how much you can do in an hour.  If you are doing 250 lph or even 200 per hour at 8 cpl for 10-12 hours per day, you should be making a good living.  If your hourly line count isn't high enough, then I can see why you can't make enough.  I do not live in a Utopia.  I live in one of the highest cost of living cities in the US which caters to the "rich retiree" which is not me.  I make enough per hour to do very well PROVIDED the work is there.  If the work isn't there, then that is a different story.  35 years deserves more than 8 cpl but what is your hourly line count?
