headset and footpedal.  That should do it.  Plug it back in so you can see the display.  Press Program, press Keys, press a key to program the headset, and enter #*11, then press the "x" (multiply) key to set it.  Do the same thing for footpedal, which is #*19.  Hope that works.

Did you have to reprogram the keyboard?
Does the Maxim already have the left space bar set up to backspace, or did you have to reprogram? The keyboard looks great, will have to convince hubby to spring for it.

I need to find a program that will let me remap the left side of spacebar in a split keyboard (Goldtouch)?  I want to change it to a backspace key.  I cant change only half of it with "Key Remapper".

Either you need to reprogram your foot pedal or
you need to update drivers.  The pedal also might not be compatible with the program you are trying to use it with.
