In Reply to: Question regarding footpedals - Karen

If you go to the website www.transcriptiongear, they have FABULOUS service, and you can do an online chat with a real live person who will make SURE that the footpedal you buy will work with your system. I was using that teeny-tiny designed-by-men-for-women-who-are-only-allowed-to-wear-high-heeled-pointy-narrow shoes to work, probably sometime in the 50s. Something I didn't know is that the nice broad footpedals are now made with a variety of plugs so that no matter what program you're using, you can still use the nice wide footpedal. I use one for ExpressScribe and one for my tape player, but wide, but requiring different connectors. Hope it helps! Oh, and before you buy on E-Bay, please check this other site, because you'll probably end up paying more with all the shipping charges people love to stick you with on E-Bay, AND, if you order the wrong footpedal, too bad so sad. Wow, I typed a lot - I need to get out more !! ha ha
