It takes all kinds, doesn't it.  Not everyone will do something like that.  I think most of us are honest and trustworthy and take out IC position seriously.  Why make it difficult for the many because of the few?

If you wish to have an employment background check done on you, by all means feel free to have a company do just that, if it makes you feel better.
